Presbyterian Communities of South Carolina (PCSC) is a not-for-profit faith based organization that owns and operates six life plan communities across the state and has been in business for over 60 years.
Currently, Laurel Crest Retirement Community has a wonderful opportunity for Medical Technicians (Med-Techs). Low staff to resident ratio!
Shift differential available for weekend, evening and night shifts.
We have a need for PRN on all shifts.
Med Tech duties include but not limited to :
- Timely administration of medications and ensuring that care and services are provided to residents in a safe and secure manner.
- Providing resident care including patient's physical, nutritional, emotional, cultural, spiritual, psycho-social, and educational needs.
- Following the residents care plan or service plan as an instruction guide for how to take care of that resident.
Requirements
- Successful completion of Medication Aide course.
- 2 or more years of prior experience as a Med Tech in a long term care or assisted living settin.
